Previous Commercial Experience: 5 years European level experience with the Renault Group, Director of two New Holland farm machinery distributors and Business Development Director of the Royal Agricultural Society of England.

Specialist Area: Commercially Focused Agri-Tech Research & Industrial Development.

I work with Innovate UK through their Sustainable Agriculture and Food Innovation Platform, I am the appointed independent Monitoring Officer for a number of collaborative projects involving diverse range of innovative businesses and research institutions of all sizes. Larger commercial participants have included Marine Harvest, Morrisons, SAB Miller, Pepsico, Pfizer Animal Health (now Zoetis), Sainsburys, SRUC, Syngenta, Unilever and Velcourt.

My mix of business and research experience, coupled with an extensive network helps me to add value to a wide range of projects.

Frequently my input is in project monitoring (delivering funder assurance), but I am able to act in an advisory, business development or project management capacity where appropriate, in order to drive businesses forward by overcoming strategic and operational challenges.
